Emily Esposito is an Assistant Professor of social psychology at Northeastern Illinois University, as of August 2025.

Her work focuses on sexual minority health and well-being disparities, and how gay-friendly venues, selective migration, and structural and regional contexts can promote belonging, well-being, and health for LGBTQ+ people.

She teaches social psychology (lecture and lab) and statistics & research methods.
